FlexLight™ Bend Insensitive Patch Cords

FlexLight™ Bend Insensitive Patch Cords offer the lowest minimum bend radius in the industry with an impressive 5mm macrobend while still meeting ITU-T G.657.B3 standards. While there are several cables that are considered “bend insensitive,” some are rated at 10mm and others at 7.5mm minimum bend. Only one fiber holds its optical integrity at 5mm and that is the G657B3 glass which is used in FlexLight™ Patch Cords.

Each IBP Optical™ Patch Cord is optically tested for quality control.

FlexLight™ Patch Cords allow the installer to route the cable in real world applications of tight bends with minimal loss of light and allow the installer to use staples to fasten and secure the cord in place.
